Whatever You Can Dream...Sensus Makes It Possible
Sensus Version 2.0 Has Beauty, Power, and Magic
Enhanced, improved, expanded...all these words describe the latest release of our Sensus family of interviewing products. We've improved existing capabilities, added new features, and created new companion modules that increase the reach of this powerful Windows-based interviewing system. The new Sensus has a more flexible modular structure, and new modular pricing to go with it. Now you can combine Sensus Q&A with any (or all) of its four companion modules to create an integrated solution that meets your level of expertise, research requirements and budget.
Sensus Offers a Fully Integrated Modular Design
Sensus Q&A is the core interviewing module of the Sensus family of products - and for many survey applications, it's the only module you'll need. With Sensus Q&A it's as easy as "point-and-click" to create attractive and intuitive Windows-based surveys. Its straightforward logic capabilities give you the power to build even complex questionnaires. Whether your research application involves central location interviewing, disk-by-mail, or door-to-door interviewing on laptops, Sensus Q&A offers respondents an easy and enjoyable experience. And now, Sensus Q&A comes with fully integrated summary statistics and two-way cross-tabulation capabilities for instant analysis.
You can expand Sensus Q&A's interviewing capabilities at any time using other Sensus modules singly or in combination. Each module works seamlessly with Sensus Q&A, so you add capabilities without learning a new system. For example, to add images, sound or video to Sensus Q&A you would add the Sensus Multimedia module. Sensus Multimedia lets you test commercials, display product prototypes, or provide verbal instructions to respondents - all as integral parts of your interview. Or, use Sensus TradeOff or Sensus Choice to add a user-friendly Windows interface to your conjoint survey. For highly complex applications, the Sensus Advanced Development Environment gives you a powerful instruction language that lets you create source-code-type customizations. One user has called Sensus "a dream"; another tells us that the software is "truly masterful." Whether you're a business manager conducting do-it-yourself in-house surveys, a marketing research professional or social scientist fielding highly complex questionnaires, or a Fortune 500 product manager who needs to evaluate a new product concept, Sensus provides an affordable solution.
Sensus Q&A: A Complete Interviewing and Analysis System
Sensus Q&A lets you create questionnaires ranging from simple to complex, using a "view as you build" interface. You can make your surveys attractive and engaging using Windows formatting options such as typefaces, typestyles and sizes, colors, and dialog boxes. And, Sensus Q&A questionnaires run on any Windows-capable PC; you can conduct in-person interviews, telephone interviews, self-administered interviews, and disk-by- mail interviews (from a single disk with no installation required) using mouse, keyboard, pen, or touch-screen input.
With Sensus Q&A, you can construct questionnaires with up to 2,000 question screens, using a full range of question and response types: choice buttons, check boxes, radio buttons, sliding scales, constant sums, grids, randomized choices, and so on. You can even create rosters and complex question sequences where a respondent's answers constitute the set of response choices for follow-up questions. The new release of Sensus Q&A also offers substantially enhanced logic capabilities. Using Sensus Q&A's simple logic commands you can create and test the skips and branches that govern the flow of your questionnaire. And, the new Sensus Q&A outline view lets you see the structure of your questionnaire as you construct it.
Also new: Sensus Q&A comes with fully integrated statistics and two-way cross-tab capabilities so that you can conduct analyses quickly and easily. The Sensus Q&A data viewer and data extractor let you edit data and export it to other data analysis applications seamlessly. An open-end coder lets you construct code lists and code verbatims at the same time.
Sensus Multimedia: Making Interviews More Realistic and Field Work Less Complicated
When you couple Sensus Multimedia with Sensus Q&A, you've got full multimedia interviewing capabilities. Sensus Multimedia lets you add images, photos, and videos to your interview. You can test concepts without creating mockups, test ads without renting VCRs and shipping videotapes, and communicate ideas when words alone will not suffice. Adding sound with Sensus Multimedia lets you describe product features, provide lengthy explanations, and narrate questionnaires in one or more languages.
Sensus Multimedia offers the same simple point-and-click approach as Sensus Q&A. It's easy to add high resolution graphics, stereo sound, narration, and full-screen video to any Sensus question - anywhere on-screen you want and at any size you want. You control how and when multimedia stimuli are presented and whether respondents can start or stop videos, or zoom in on images.
Sensus TradeOff and Sensus Choice: The State of the Art in Conjoint Data Collection
At long last - conjoint data collection is as powerful and as compelling as conjoint itself. When you pair Sensus TradeOff with Sawtooth Software's popular ACA System for Adaptive Conjoint Analysis or Sensus Choice with Sawtooth Software's CBC System for Choice- Based Conjoint you've achieved the state of the art in conjoint data collection.
Sensus TradeOff and Sensus Choice replace the traditional DOS-based conjoint interview with a respondent-friendly Windows presentation. Your conjoint survey is "point-and-click" easy for respondents and the interview itself is attractive and engaging. Add Sensus Multimedia to enhance the interview with images, sounds, and videos. Sensus TradeOff and Sensus Choice support personal interviews, self-administered interviews, and disk-by-mail interviews, so you can add impact to your conjoint surveys in any interview modality.
Sensus Advanced Development Environment: Source Code Enhancements without the Hassle
Clients sometimes present you with research assignments that require you to move beyond existing tools and techniques. Such assignments are usually more complex, more demanding and more profitable. To handle these specialized or complex applications, we offer the Sensus Advanced Development Environment.
The Advanced Development Environment (ADE) is a set of Basic language tools that let you extend the functionality of Sensus Q&A - or any of the Sensus companion modules. Sensus ADE offers all the advantages of source code cutomization without source code hassles. The features or enhancements you create are independent functions that interact with Sensus without actually modifying its code, so you don't have to spend extra time testing and debugging. With Sensus ADE, the possibilities are endless.
And, There's More to Come...
Other Sensus modules are on the way. In the future you'll be able to use Sensus to conduct Web-based surveys or distribute interviews over a network for in-house surveys. Whenever survey research can benefit from information technology, Sensus will take advantage of it.
Modular Structure, Modular Pricing
With Sensus' new modular design, you purchase only the tools you require. As your needs change or grow, Sensus can grow with you.
The core interviewing module, Sensus Q&A, is $1,000. With the exception of the Sensus Advanced Development Environment, all the other Sensus modules are also $1,000. So, to purchase Sensus Q&A alone costs $1,000. To purchase Sensus Q&A in combination with Sensus Multimedia, Sensus TradeOff, or Sensus Choice costs $2,000. A combination of any three Sensus modules (for example, Sensus Q&A, Sensus Multimedia, and Sensus TradeOff) costs $3,000. All licenses are single-user licenses; site licenses for multiple users are also available. Prices are one-time fees and include free technical support and our usual 60-day money-back guarantee.
