Mixed Mode: The latest in CATI/Web Integration
Wincati Mixed Mode is the integration of telephone and Web interviewing in one system. It lets you conduct studies that are pure telephone, pure Web, or any combination of the two.
For example, you can recruit respondents by phone and offer them the choice of being interviewed by phone or online. For respondents who choose to be interviewed online, WinCati Mixed Mode lets you automatically send email invitation, reminder, and thank you messages to those individuals. It also directs online interviews that respondents fail to complete back to telephone interviewers so they can be completed by phone.
Mixed-mode studies can increase respondent cooperation rates, provide a sampling frame for projecting Web-based results, and lower overall interviewing costs.
You must have the WinCati Mixed Mode option to take advantage of this capability.
WinCati Mixed Mode offers true CATI/Web integration:
- Interviews can switch between modes any number of times and in any order
- CATI and Web interviews use the same sample, questionnaire, and respondent data database
- Sample management rules, quotas, and dispositions are applied to both modes
- Question presentation and flow can be customized for the interview mode
- Email messages can be sent automatically to online respondents based on their interview status
- Online data tools and statistics show CATI and Web results combined
